It is exactly seven weeks since Noah was born. Every Tuesday we talk about our memories from that day and the hospital.

Baby Björn

The past week (week 6) was an eventful week with baking of a carrot cake with grandma in the US. It is sort of difficult to do, but every now and then Sam will call his mom and bake something together while talking.

We also had cousin Tobias visit. He just can´t get enough of Noah. Just wants to look and touch and smell him. He also held him. Tobias is such a good caring cousin.

Noah started intentionally smile at us on my birthday. Here is a little video clip of him “talking” and smiling.

Well, I have had a few thoughts on the contest.

Due to the fact that the scores got so unattainable right away, I figure that some of you are a bit frustrated. So far Em has posted an INSANE score of 3.07. I am not sure what kind of magic he pulled when he did this. Personally I suspect anabolic steroids… However, because it is a bit difficult and expensive to have mandatory unrine testing of all the competitors… I have decided the following….

I will mail anyone who beats my High score of 4.65 a footprint of little Noah. (If they want one)

The person with the best score wins chocolate (unless they don’t want any)

Here is the link once again…Good Luck!

IT’S CONTEST TIME!

I posted a link to the Eyeballing Game…It just takes a few minutes to do. The best score wins a box of chocolates and a foot imprint of our little son (this will increase the probablity of my family playing.)

You can try as many times as you like….Just post your scores (The honor system is in place…so no cheating) Good Luck!

I don’t think I want to post my score…let’s just say I am happy to be under 9 points….What did ya’ll get? Here is the link

Another Noah video…This time with a bit of a smile…Here it is

We finally got water color from the local toy store and were waiting for the perfect moment to make prints of Noah´s feet. Timing was off since we just gave him a bath BEFORE coloring his feet.

It is a good thing our son is a deep sleeper. I am not sure how I would react if someone, while I was sleeping, smeared a bunch of paint on my feet and pressed them several times against paper in the hunt for the perfect print.

Well, after a week or two of packing, painting and planning…. moving day finally arrived. We had planned to take lots of pictures of the event, but the camera got packed away somewhere…It took us until today to find it. I guess we really dropped the ball on that one.

We had so much fun with our friends and family that helped us move. Thanks so much! I can only imagine how tired you all must be. It was quite a project!

I took this picture from our balcony. Fall is here!

This one is for Christian. Barefoot. Untainted by those evil shoe companies.

Here is video clip of Noah and Mir.

That’s Right…Another Holiday most of you don’t know existed. Last week we celebrated “Talk Like a Pirate Day.” Today, October 4th is “Kanelbullens Dag” or Cinnamon Bun Day in English. This holiday is even more fun because it involves food.

So, today we rolled out of bed, dressed in cinnamon bun colors, and headed to our neighborhood bakery together.

They even put up signs!

Noah fell asleep during his first Cinnamon Bun Day. Maybe because we didn’t let him order any coffee. I think he might apreciate it more next year. Anyway, to all of you who read this…Happy “Kanelbullens Dag!” Grab a cinnamon bun celebrate!

Noah Finally woke up after we got back home. Here is video of him waking up…it is quite a process.

We leave Sweden on December 4th and return on January 12th. We pushed back the date so Noah could get his shots and be 2 weeks older before the big trip. All-in-all we should be around for almost 6 weeks…We are not sure yet when we will go to Montana…I think that depends on what works for my family…

You know the old joke about how in-laws and fish are similar because they start to smell after a week…We hope you all can put up with us that long!

We are all really jazzed to see you!!!!!
