I am beginning to realize that my wife is pregnant! We spent last Saturday looking for “the perfect stroller.” This is not an easy task. There is a huge assortment of strollers with many different features. It kinda reminded me of buying car. Mirjam has been pouring over consumer reports and we have amassed a pretty impressive stack of brochures.
Dispite Mir’s happy face, we left this store pretty disappointed.
Well, I kinda liked the purple one with the umbrella.
Later that day, we bought some maternity clothes for Mir. Here she is showing off her tummy…

Buying a stroller is as expensive as buying a car! Anyhow, the purple one looks really cool, but is it with three or four wheels? Don´t fall for “sporty” words etc. Ask if you can get the stroller for half the price if you can be without the umbrella or something else.

Well, at first I was kinda joking about the purple one. But you guys had a pretty good idea…maybe trade in the umbrella and attach a pair of viking horns on it…

I’m all for the viking theme. Reminds me of high school and our mascot. We were the mighty Opheim Vikings (YAAAAH). Only our colors were orange and black. Anyway that was a long time ago. Mirjam you look great, we are so excited for you both.

yup! I bought the shirt and the pants. I had to speak to the politicians this week and needed some clothes for it. My old “fat” jeans just wouldn´t do. I just love the feeling of those pants. Nothing holding the tummy in. I almost forget I am pregnant at times!

Mirjam THANK YOU for posting a picture of your pregnant tummy! I hope you will continue to allow close friends and family to share this journey with you and Sam by letting us see more pictures along the way. It means so much since we don’t get to see each other too often.

and remember that light colors will show everything that take place in a stroller….like vomiting, bananathrowings, snore…and a lot more you won´t think of. A black stroller hides things like that, but then again, you can take the stroller to the gasstation and let it be washed where the cars get washed. After all strollers are as expensive as a car here.

Seriously, we love our stroller. It is fantastic. Light, multi functional, folds up real nice and has a lot of storage underneath. AND there are cupholders for baby and mom + dad! Compare to Swedish prices it is a bargain.

We have lower priced stroller here too. We took a look at one yesterday at the mall. But we have two kinds that we are more intressted in based on consumer reports on safety tests and features that we would like. We have no car and so we will be using the stroller a lot getting on an out of busses, trains etc. So far we like the newest Crescent and Emmaljunga city jet. They have wheels that turn but they are bigger so they work in snow, slush and gravel. I am very picky! It is like buying a car… actually I am doing more research on this baby carriage thing than when we bought our car. Thanks for the offer! Nice that you are thinking of us.
