There is a scene in “You´ve got mail” where Tom Hanks comes up to Meg Ryans apartment when she is really sick. She has used up tissue everywhere that she frantically tries to pick up before he enters her apartment. Sam´s reaction once was - who does that? Meaning, who would just through their tissue anywhere after using it…. well… Now he knows!
I have been down with the flu since Saturday morning and that is a very long time for me! Every night I have to walk around and collect my used tissue from the floor by the couch, the floor by my bed, or the floor by the computer chair.
I won´t post pictures of it… you will just have to watch the movie!

Sure hope you get feeling better if you lived closer I would bring you some homeade chicken noodle soup and crackers and some 7-up.

I do that ALL the time when I am sick!!!
I assure you it is NORMAL (since I do it). It is a very useful assessment tool. When you go around picking them up….it is such a relief to see fewer of them ….that way I know I am getting better
If it is any comfort to Sam, Blips thinks it is also disgusting and wonders what is wrong with me.
