Lately I have realized that I pay attention to doors. I find them intresting. Well, some more than others! There are so many different designs, colors, shapes and then the whole setting. The way the light shines on the door and the wall that frames it.
So I decided I would start sharing some pictures I take of doors. I´ll post them here every now and then.
This one is actually a picture of two doors and I really liked them both.

I think doors are interesting too! Mir, I guess you did this entry, or is it you, Sam? Whoever it is, I think you should continue to take pics of interesting doors and do some writing too. I see a very deep, interesting, and beautiful book coming!!! Hear me! This is a good idea.

Okay ~ Which of you is taking photos of doors? I’ve been taking photos of doors since the mid-80’s. You’re right…doors are a really interesting subject.
And, yes, Maxima…the photos should be accompanied by The Doors’ music! It’s the best!

Hey Mir! I’m pretty sure it’s you. I think we have a common interest
. I think doors are fascinating. My favorite would be a Hobbit door. Unfortunately, they are not easy to find. The oldest one that I have a picture of is from a 12th century Swedish church. Don’t think the door is that old, but it was quite convincing.

I think doors set the whole scene for a home or business. It’s the first thing you see when coming in and the last on the way out.
