Sweden it was snowing and it was really cold. The wind was blowing the snow into the airplane since there were no extending gate but we had to walk outside to get to the plane.
We arrived to a warm tropical island and didn´t know where we would stay since we had bought a last minute deal with unspecified living. We ended up in a town called Puerto Rico on the sout side of Gran Canaria. We later found out it is the town that gets the most sun hours in all of Spain.
Puerto Rico is pretty much a town of hotels with only tourtists. Most spoken language? Hard to say, between British English, German, and Norweigan. Swedish could also be heard pretty much everywhere. The center of town was just below our hotel in the valley and was full of tourist shops with a bunch of those fake watches, hand bags, and sun glasses.

HAHA! Nah, I almost bought some “Armani” sunglasses though. I did buy a “CK” backpack because I needed a new one…by the way “CK” dosn’t stand for Calvin Klein…It stands for Creaciones Kamal…but the logo looks identical.
