In response to the discussion from the last entry I tried hard to find that doctors statement from Oprah. I couldn´t find it. I think it might have been Dr. Oz. But I search Oprahs webpage and YouTube without results. If anyone else might have an idea what the guy actually said… please enlighten me!
I found some other information about the eye and brain. So I thought I could share!

A doctor can put drops in your eye to make the pupil dilate. This helps the doctor see the retina, optical nerve and back of the eye better. (from http://www.stlukeseye.com/eyeq/Dilation.asp)
So if you can see the optical nerve… does that count as seeing part of the brain?

I am with Em that the optical nerve is not a part of the brain. And Dr. Oz… it sure sounds a bit fake. Makes me think of a fake wizard I once heard of.

Well, It was Dr Oz. I found some pics of him on Oprahs site and a couple clips on YouTube. But, unfortunately not what I was looking for. I guess the only way to get to the bottom of this is to order a transcript. I remember the discussion clearly and I remember being pretty amazed. However I have google and asked Jeeves for the last half hour and I am pretty convinced this is not possible….

page 74 in Dr Oz’s book has a diagram of the direct route to the brain. I put my eye down on the page and I saw directly into the brain.
