We made it to Minneapolis after a very long trip. It started at 4 am when we got up in Skene where mom had taken good care of us. She drove us to the airport where our plane departed at 7am. Frankfurt airport is one of the worst airports I have been in. Smoking is allowed! It is just nasty air. Hey… if people want to smoke, then that is fine, but don’t make everyone else have to share the experience.
About 20 hours, 6 passport checks, 3 security checks (yes I had to take off my boots and have a lady feel my sweaty feet and massage my calvs which she said was complimentary) and 3 aircrafts later we landed safely in Minneapolis. It feels like we have done so much already. We spent some time on Saturday evening with my brother and his wife and a friend of ours who also spent the night with his son.
After 24 hours my head finally hit the pillow! There is no way anyone could do all the things that the guy in 24 does. I know what it feels like!
Today we went to Twin Cities Church. It was so great to be with our friends. It felt good to be in our home church! We all went out for lunch after the service. I tried to upload some pictures but with no success. I will try to figure it out later.
Oh… we also went shopping today. New York & Co of course, Express for Sam! And then Target. It is unbelievable how cheap things are in the US. The sales and coupons makes clothes super cheap and make-up is about 3 times more expense over in Sweden.

I’m so happy to hear that you both are fine and that you have landed safely after the long trip! Have a great time with friends and family over there and give them all my love!

Can’t you take KLM /NWA out of Amsterdam straight to MPLS?
BTW- last time I was in the US, all the “cheap stuff” from Target suddenly became very expensive when we had to pay baggage overage charges.
