A quick trip through my camera phone (pt 1)
OK…So I have been slacking off a little lately. It has been several days without a new entry and Em is getting tired of looking at that sandwich cake. Fair enough, I thought today I might share some pictures from my camera phone. There are so many times that I forget to take the camera along when I go out, so, I use my camera phone instead. What follows is pictures from the last 6 months that haven’t quite made the highlight real…enjoy!
I snapped this one on the way home last June. The people in the truck are Swedes that have just graduated high school. Not sure why this is a tradition, but they sounded like they had a lot of fun!
This is my nephew on his birthday.
A seriously disturbing Mc Donalds experience. I took the picture for evidence.
Ah, the sound of 8 ACCORDIANS! Apparently 7 wasn’t enough.
And finally, Jönköping at night. They put lights everywhere! Very cool!

Send the Mc Picture to their headquarters…
The pic of T was sort of strange -it kind of looks like his cute little face has been pressed down to the bottom of a salad bowl!
See you soon!

I know that picture of T is really funny. His face is in such a different shape on it. But that is totally how it looks in the camera too. He is so close to Sam blowing that green thing right in Sam´s face and then the angle of the camera. It is such a fun picture!

Was there a bomb scare?
There is nobody in the street.
Nice lights though

Maxima! Don’t you know, Mirjam is a sleep walker! The pic is taken around 3 o’clock when she is out for her second stroll. It’s amazing that woman still is so beautiful even though she never gets enough sleep!

hahaha… actually I didn´t take that picture. It is off Sam´s picture. I did get my sleep today. Went to bed around midnight and didn´t get up until 11. And… I take a lot of naps!!! I love naps! College taught me that!

When I was a kid I did. At least according to my Mom…

Well… it gets dark here by 3 pm now. And all stores close at 6 pm. So by 8 it is very empty and quiet downtown.

It’s true, it gets dark by 3 p.m. Really dark. So, everybody sleep walks!

Does that make for weird Christmas presents: people buy them in their sleep?

Actually, the fact that we all sleep walk about two months during winter season has a great effect on bringing down the level of stress a lot of people around the world feels when it comes to shopping for Christmas gifts. We simply don’t buy any gifts for Christmas. We’re too sleepy! And for Christmas we’re awake for such a short period of time that we only have time to enjoy eating together before we go back to sleep again. Spending Christmas in Sweden is great! You get a lot of rest and save a lot of money!

Well, I can’t wait to see what hibernating Sweds eat for Christmas….since regular food is so delicious looking. If you need any Arby’s, let me know
It’s only a 4 day flight away. hehehehe

Those Arby sandwiches will most likely look like the horrifying picture of Mirjam’s bad McD experience!
