Sam is a very fast reader. He loves reading books and he has probably read about 30 books this year. (?). Me… I am a very slow reader. I did not like reading as a kid and I read maybe 4 books in a good year. Both of us are really stubborn in what books to read. Sam wants to pick out his own books to his liking. Since I only get through four… well they better be my style and what I WANT to read.
I love the Lord of the Rings! I only read the books once through… BEFORE the movies. Sam… he read the Hobbit. He has refused to read any of the books because he has already seen the movies. On the other hand… he loves Dean Koontz writing. I read Swedish detective novells.
Sam has been trying to get me to read his Dean Kontz´s books and I have been trying to get him through Lord of the Rings. So we brokered a trade. Made a deal.
I will read Dean Koontz “Life Expetancy” and Sam will read the first two books in the Lord of the Rings series.

And when you have read the first two books Sam, I have two more written by JRR Tolkien. The name in english “Book of lost tales”. One word explaining mr Tolkien: “incredible”.

Sam! Take out a pencil, because some of the sentences and quotes in the “Ring books” are so incredibly deep and almost life giving that they should be underlined and imparted into your way of looking at life and fellow human beings! (Not that you need a wake up call in those areas! That’s not what I’m saying. I just mean that Tolkien is a word master and his wisdom is obvious through his works!)

Johanna! Kolla deras länkar. Micke Gustavsson och Jonas Persson verkar vara spam. Medan Hannah är en livs levande tjej! Kram.

I remember last summer when I sat outside in the swing and read books. Two or three a week. I wish I had that kind of time now. I have been toying with the idea of making a list of books read every year so I can look back on what I used to read. I find myself re-reading what I read in the 80’s.
I’m glad that you can get them from the library. They are so expensive. And then you just have to dust them.

Libraries are Great! I am still a big fan of the 5 dollar paperbacks at Target…or Costco! We usually go to bed 30 min early and read..it is great unwinding..unless you read Steven King…heh…
