Today I spent a lot of money. But it was fun! It could have been more fun if Sam was here with me making these important decisions. Marie was a great stand-in helper and her taste has always been excellent so I am very thankful that she wants to help me.
I bought this bed. It’s very comfy! Best of all, it was on sale, about 30% off!
And I bought an espresso/cappucino/coffee maker. So we will have great Saturday morning! I can’t wait for our good friends to come visit us when everything is placed just so in our new home and I have learned how to make the perfect cup of coffee.

I am so happy for you! How exciting with the making of your new home! I’m sure that once the Spring sun comes out in Minneapolis and people get more eager to start something new and fresh as the Spring flowers bring their promises of brighter and warmer times, your USA apartment will sell too!
Love, Jo

So, you are going to be Senso-less.
There was a time when neither one of us could imagine that. Being Senso-less. Your ‘coffee pot’ looks fantastico!
And do you keep the cookies in a tin next to it or in the cupboard? mmmmmmmmm Fica

No no no, I will not go senseo-less! Sam will be bringing ours since Sweden has not been blessed with Senseo….. yet! Cookies will be in a tin in a cupboard next to it!

If blue matches your kitchen better, I know where you can get one for free
Actually, I believe you own half of it.
It has very little use….about 4 cups of coffee per week.
mmmmmmmmmmm smelling coffee now.

I have been starting to see commercials for senseo-like machines in Sweden. They have pods and they only brew 1-2 cups at a time… but it’s not a Senseo… it’s only a matter of time…
